Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content since its creation, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public contributes to the global democratization of knowledge.

The journal follows the Creative Commons - Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY).
The texts published in the journal may be copied, distributed, and used for any, provided that the authors are acknowledged and cited.
The authors transfer to the Boletim Campineiro de Geografia all copyright on the published texts, permanently and non-exclusively. The published content is the sole responsibility of its authors, with the editors reserving the right to make linguistic corrections and adjustments to the journal's standards.
Authors are allowed to store the submitted (preprint), accepted (postprint), and published versions in institutional repositories without restrictions.
Interoperability
The Boletim Campineiro de Geografia adheres to the OAI-PMH 2.0 interoperability protocol.
Identification
The journal has the international identifier Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for all its articles and publications.

Articles received by the journal will be processed through the Turnitin © plagiarism detection software to ensure their originality.
Archiving
The Boletim Campineiro de Geografia uses the LOCKSS system for archiving its publications in a distributed manner, for preservation and restoration purposes.

The journal is available in multidisciplinary national and international indexing mechanisms: Migulim, Diadorim, BASE, OpenAlex, Google Scholar, LIVRE, EZB, Latindex, Capes Periódicos, and CrossRef.
