Commitments and Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers are responsible for providing impartial evaluations of manuscripts, ensuring the confidentiality of the reviewed content and maintaining anonymity regarding the authors. They must refrain from any communication with third parties about the evaluated material and report any potential conflicts of interest to the editorial team.
- Reviewers' evaluations should be based on criteria such as originality, relevance, methodological consistency, and clarity in presenting results. They are also expected to verify the manuscript’s compliance with the current standards, such as ABNT NBR 10520 - 2023.
- The deadline for submitting the review is 30 days, with an extension possible in exceptional cases, upon the editorial committee's approval.
- Reviewers are also responsible for providing constructive suggestions for improving manuscripts, always respecting the integrity of the scientific and editorial process.
